I've now the good fortune to be studying at one of Australia's premier institutions. The University of Sydney stands proud amongst its compatriots in age and stature and beauty. Though one of the oldest Universities down under, it manages to intricately weave the old and the new into its very fabric.
The architectural styles easily spans the length of its existence - buildings that scream colonial glory, spartan simplicity of the 40's and 50's and some very modern architecture of the new century stand side by side or rather corner to corner!
